Unfair Grounds was written in October of 2015, but wasn’t recorded until Jesse was recording in his home studio in 2019. As he was warming up to record a different piece, he happened to have hit the record button and captured what became his first ever editorial addition on Spotify’s ‘Classical New Releases’ playlist with over half a million followers. This felted upright piano recording was released with NY based Sonder House record label and mastered by Trevor Case at Case Mastering. You might notice a somewhat shortened version of the piece is recorded, and the full version is the one written in the sheet music download.
